Duties And Responsibilities:
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to determine the safety condition of the vehicle;
- Transport employees to various locations on work-related trips;
- Perform minor vehicle repairs;
- Collect and distribute various documents;
- Fill in and maintain information for all trips in the travel logbook;
- Clean the vehicle; and
- Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
The applicant should have a Form IV (Grade 10) Certificate and a Class E or C driving license which has been used for work for at least one year without causing accidents. They should have attended basic Technical Skills Training (VETA) or another Government-recognized institution.
